Attention Mothers of Daughters: We are offering a Bible Study this fall, 5 Conversations You Must Have with Your Daughter.
The study is by Vicki Courtney and is for mothers of girls age infant to 18. It is not too early or too late to learn how to talk to our daughters about Gods plan for our lives and bodies. This is a 6 week study that will be offered on Tuesdays beginning September 7 at 10 am and 7 pm.
If you are interested, or know someone that might be, please take a minute to send an email to education@holycomforterchurch.org or sign up on the sheet in the foyer.There will be a cost of $12.00 per participant to cover the cost of your individual study book. We will order the books August 30th, so please sign up so we will know how many to order to have them available for the first class. Alpha - Is there more to life than this? If you are asking that question, join us for Alpha, a ten week course designed to look at the claims of Christianity. Christians believe that in Jesus, there really is more to life than what weve been experiencing. This is a safe environment to ask questions with other seekers and even those who doubt Christianity. You are invited to a preview of Alpha Sunday September 12 from 5 pm7 pm, dinner included. The topic will be Is there more to life than this? The course then begins Sunday, September 19 at 5pm. The format includes a short video presentation, discussion, fellowship and heavy refreshments. The Rev. Lynn Prather will be the facilitator along with other lay leaders.
